Autonomous Non-profit Organization “Arena-2018” was established in May 2012 by Autonomous Non-profit Organization “Organizing Committee “Russia-2018” and Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation.
The main obligations of ANO “ARENA-2018” are:
- Expert evaluation of design documentation for FIFA compliance.
- Project monitoring of design and construction stages of the 2018 FIFA World Cup stadiums.
- Monitoring of the construction process for design solutions compliance and FIFA requirements.
- Design of temporary facilities for staging the 2018 FIFA World Cup and 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup.
In accordance with the Federal Law No.108-FZ “On preparation for and staging of the 2018 FIFA World Cup and the Confederations Cup 2017 in the Russian Federation and amendments to certain items of the legislation of the Russian Federation” ANO “Arena-2018” is entitled with additional obligation of construction control of the stadiums.
ANO “Arena-2018” works in close collaboration with regions of Russian Federation and international football organizations.
